Which size cable seal do I need?
Measure the outside diameter of the cable, and the connector if it has to pass through the hole, and pick a seal rated for it. Each title lists the cable size range.
Vertical or horizontal?
A vertical seal is for a cable coming straight up through a flat deck. A horizontal seal lets the cable exit sideways, which works well at the base of an arch or where the cable runs along the surface.
How do I install a cable seal on a cored deck?
Seal the exposed core around the hole so water can't get into it, then bed the seal in marine sealant. Water in a cored deck causes rot that's expensive to fix.
