Which shunt size do I need, 500A or 1000A?
A shunt sits in the battery negative so the system can measure current going in and out of the bank. Pick one rated above the most current your system will ever carry, counting the alternator, inverter, and any large DC loads together. If you're close to the limit, go with the larger shunt.
Is there a mounting kit for my van engine?
Mounting kits are listed for Ford Transit and Mercedes Sprinter engines. Match the kit to your engine and to the mount style of the Zeus alternator you're buying, and check the listing details before ordering.
