Blue Sea Electrical Panels
Blue Sea Systems Electrical Panels in Annapolis
Blue Sea DC and AC distribution panels and panel components for building or replacing a boat's main electrical panel. A well-laid-out panel puts every circuit behind its own breaker, clearly labeled, so you and the next electrician can see exactly what each one feeds.
Panel replacements usually mean re-terminating every circuit behind the panel. Call (410) 263-0807 to talk through a panel upgrade. We design and install Blue Sea panels throughout Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay.

Blue Sea Electrical Panels FAQ
How many circuits should a replacement panel have?
Count every circuit on the old panel, including anything tied in behind it, then add a few spare positions. Owners almost always add equipment later, and spare breakers save you from doubling up circuits down the road.
Can AC and DC share one panel?
They can, but the AC side has to be clearly separated and guarded from the DC side, and both need to be clearly labeled. Many boats use separate AC and DC panels to keep it simple. Our shore power service page covers the AC side.
Should a new panel include meters?
A DC voltmeter or battery monitor at the panel lets you check battery condition at a glance, and an AC voltmeter shows dock voltage before you start loading it. See meters & monitoring for options.
