Triton² or H5000?
Triton² covers what most cruising sailors need: wind, speed, depth, and heading on clear displays. H5000 adds deeper calibration, polars, and performance data for racing and serious performance sailing. Shop B&G instruments.
Why does calibration matter?
True wind is calculated from boat speed, heading, and apparent wind. If the speed sensor or masthead unit is off, every wind and layline number on the display is off too. A calibration sail after install is what makes the data trustworthy.
Can a B&G autopilot steer to the wind?
Yes. With a wind sensor on the network, B&G autopilots can hold a wind angle as well as a compass heading. Shop B&G autopilots.
