Does a spotlight need its own circuit?

Spotlights draw a lot of current, so they should be on their own fused circuit with wire sized for the full run. Undersized wire causes voltage drop and a dim beam.

How do I find the right replacement bulb?

Match the bulb to the spotlight model listed in the bulb's title. Using the wrong bulb can overheat the housing or give a poor beam.
