Electrical - Fuse Blocks & Fuses
Marine fuses and fuse blocks
Marine overcurrent protection — Class-T fuses, ANL, MEGA, MRBF (Marine Rated Battery Fuse), and the fuse blocks and holders that hold them. ABYC E-11 requires properly sized fuse protection on every DC source; Marine Electric Systems builds every install to ABYC standards.
- Bussmann JJN-series Class-T fuses — required on every lithium house bank install (200A, 300A, 400A typical)
- ANL fuses and holders — for high-current battery feeds and inverter circuits
- MEGA fuses — for alternator and starter circuits
- MRBF terminal fuses — battery-terminal-mounted fuse blocks
- Blue Sea Systems fuse blocks — distribution and ATC/ATO blocks
Class-T fuses are the only fuse type rated for the interrupt capacity that lithium house banks can produce during a short-circuit fault — a non-negotiable for ABYC-compliant lithium installs.
