This stunning new Italia Yachts 12.98 received a cutting-edge lithium battery system upgrade, replacing the original AGM battery bank with a more efficient and powerful Victron Energy solution.

The upgrade includes four Victron 12V 200Ah lithium batteries, delivering a total of 800 amp hours of reliable, high-performance power storage. These batteries are managed by an external Victron BMS, ensuring safe operation, balanced charging, and full system protection — ideal for the demands of modern sailing.

Power management and monitoring are handled by a Victron Multiplus 12/3000 inverter/charger, integrated with a Cerbo GX communication center and a GX Touch 70 display. This setup provides real-time system status, control, and remote monitoring capability, all accessible via an intuitive touchscreen interface.

To support the lithium system while underway, a high-output alternator has been installed and is managed by an ARCO Zeus digital regulator. This intelligent regulator optimizes charging performance, helping extend battery life and ensure fast, safe recharge cycles directly from engine power.
