This app’s standout feature is its ability to connect directly to your GX device over a local network. Eliminating the need for individual Bluetooth connections improves commissioning and configuration adjustments.
By connecting directly to your GX device over LAN or WiFi, you can now access and configure your entire system more efficiently without the limitations of Bluetooth range or the need for multiple pairings.
Improved User Experience
Profile pictures in the VRM installations list make it easier to navigate and identify your systems from your phone. The settings lock feature is now more accessible, with a lock icon always visible on each device’s settings page. The product discovery troubleshooting page now provides clearer notifications about potential connection issues, such as disabled Bluetooth or missing network permissions.
Firmware Updates
EV Charging Stations can be firmware updated directly through the app using a combination of Bluetooth and LAN/WiFi connectivity. The included firmware has been updated to v2.0.0.
Settings for standalone Bus Inverter/Chargers are now automatically restored after a firmware update, simplifying the process and minimizing downtime. However, assistants are not supported, so if you are using assistants, continue to use the VE Bus tool suite.
Firmware for the Multi RS has been added, supporting international use. This enables ESS functionality and grid feed-in for users in these regions.
